welcome to......... TORN APART...
The year is 2011. Russian civilians were very happy with their election of a military general, hardline communist leader which claimed to be a direct descendant of Joseph Stalin. Gennady Stalin promised to 'wipe America and her capitalist allies off of the map', in his inauguration speech. Not even 2 days after that, Air-raid sirens filled the air on the night of December 22nd, 2010. Bombs were flying out of seemingly mid air, the roar of tanks and the parachutes of Russian soldiers had became a common sight for the first couple of days of the beginning of this invasion.
The city of Barker, and the smaller 'shadow' city of Sandoval, both located on the Pacific coast were the first targets of this 'attack'. Fort Baker, one of the major military bases of the United States Armed forces in California deployed as soon as the radar detected hundreds of ships and hundreds of planes heading for the coast of California. Scrambling as quick as they could as the protocol ordered them to do, Sandoval was pretty much flattened by several incinderary bombs and was invaded.
American troops in the area held off the Russian invasion but found themselves running low on supplies and finally the city fell. Sandoval has been taken over as one of the Russian's main headquarters on the Pacific coast. Meanwhile, resistance is strong in Los Angeles and other large cities in California, and CNN has reported that an east coast invasion has began.
Russian troops have tried for the past 3 months to take Barker, but the American troops are catching them in the middle and holding them back. Many of the civilians in Barker, despite the rockets being shot, and sirens going off in the middle of the night have forgotten a war is even going on, and are trying to live their lives the best they can. It seems American troops have thwarted the downfall of Barker, and have turned the attention of the Russian military to Los Angeles and other cities north of Barker. Nevertheless, a war is going on and it will be just a matter of time before Barker will be back in the crosshairs of the Russian aggression.
In this mixture of a war, highschool, city, and college roleplay you will assume the role of either an American military member, or a civilian and will work through the trying times in which this war has brought to the California coast, will life as usual go on as normal? Build relationships that will last a lifetime, or fufill life long dreams of assuming a career in the military. Will the local population allow the war to change their way of living? The Russian invasion is knocking at Barker's door..
