Name:: Nero Partrick Ironmark Age:: 33 Gender:: Male Residency:: District 2
Appearance:: (played by: kenneth branagh)As one might expect from a former Career and Hunger Games victor, Nero is fairly well built and definitely imposing. Standing six feet, three inches, he is often the tallest head in the crowd. A Career tribute through and through, Nero never could stop his training regimen, even after winning the Hunger Games, and has a burly physique to show for it. He may not be entirely rippling muscles, but Nero is broad and more than physically fit.
Despite his virile build, Nero's skin is still on the pale side: not exactly ghostly white, but a few shades short of tan. His scars from the Hunger Games had been smoothed over by the Capitol surgeons upon his victory, but not six months after, Nero corrected this. He'd taken his knife and reformed every scar they should have left: on his hands, his legs, his chest--he'd even given himself a fresh scar over his left eye, which he'd received in his final battle.
Nero keeps his roan-colored hair short and neat, out of his eyes, where it would not bother him in a fight. His beard--a neatly trimmed goatee that continues up his jaw, where it attaches to his hair--helps to add to his already intimidating appearance. His arched eyebrows often give Nero a quizzical, almost sarcastic expression without him even trying.
Beneath these sit his eyes: the color of chocolate to the casual observer, but so much more to those who look deeper. Though Nero guards his emotions, his eyes always give him away without his consent. While his face is set as if stone and his eyebrows make sarcastic inquiries at whomever he is speaking with, Nero's eyes will always show his emotions. They seem to burn when enraged, wave a white flag when defeated, whimper when he is wounded. They are the one part of Nero that ever show his pain.
Personality:: As is often the case with past victors of the Hunger Games, Nero quite unstable. Most of the time, he's serious. He is stoic and callous, with a sort of detached, ironic view of life. He sees the world as though he's not a citizen in it, as though it is everyone else's world. Just not his.
Despite this, Nero has no trouble playing along with the social standards set by everyone else. He'll be polite and charming to strangers and people who deserve his respect. However, when Nero hates someone, he has no trouble making it very clear. After someone gets on his bad side for whatever reason, it is very, very difficult for them to redeem themselves.
The Hunger Games broke the little sense of trust he ever had. Nero is cautious to the point of paranoid and doesn't let anyone get close to him. Rarely, he will let them near him physically, but most certainly not emotionally. He gets a little paranoid about people with the slightest provocation, and won't take his eyes off them if he can help it.
