Coast Panem is huge, which means it has a lot of coastline, in the east and the west and even way up north (though the ocean above the tundra tends to be frozen). At various points along the coast, beaches and cliffs both lead to the ocean, which provides Panem with trade, transportation, and food. Moderator: Wolf Tears |

Forest District Seven, in the north, is known for its coniferous forests, but that doesn't mean there are no trees in the rest of Panem. Mixed, deciduous, and coniferous forests can be found throughout the country, and for those who know them, they can provide a source of food and shelter. It's not even illegal anymore. Tundra Go north, far north. Head across what was once, centuries ago, the border between the United States and Canada. Find the coniferous forests of District Seven, then keep going. Eventually you will find the tundra, where each day lasts six months and only the most hardy of plants and creatures can make their living. It's possible to live in this vast land of ice and snow, but it's very, very hard. Good luck- if you're staying long, you'll need it. Moderator: Wolf Tears |
